Think about someone you know who has graduated from Humboldt (or who is about to graduate) that you particularly admire.

  • Hard working…persistent.
  • Passion and joy for particular field.
  • Passion and joy for life in general.
  • Home ownership.
  • Ability to help out in the community.
  • Not afraid to question ideas and concepts.
  • Sense of social responsibility.
  • Confidence. Connections. Knows what she/he wants to do in the future.
  • Better understanding of the people/world around her/him.
  • Very resourceful. Takes opportunities as they come.
  • Encouraged and supported others…mentoring.
  • Life experience. Did things they hadn’t done before and had social interactions they hadn’t had before.
  • Positive sense of diversity.

As a result of their Humboldt experience,what should all our graduates know and be able to do?

  1. Humboldt graduates actively work toward improving social, environmental, and economic justice in their workplaces and communities.
    • Ability to be socially, politically, & environmentally more conscious than graduates from other campuses.
